Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9828546A2] A mechanical joining means designed as a locking element is suitable for assembling and securing especially prefabricated elements of all types in an invisible manner. The locking element is a flat, mainly round metal disk designed as a clamping element with two opposite cut-outs shaped as clamping tongues and a hole of a particular shape at the centre of the metal disk. Together with two holding bolts which are inserted into the elements to be assembled, the metal disk takes up the function of a connecting element. The locking element acts as a lock which can be locked and opened without problems when it is inserted into recesses partially cut into the elements to be assembled and is tightened by a special socket spanner. The size and material of the locking element largely depend on its destined use.
