[origin: DE19610783A1] The invention relates to an aerial arrangement for attaching a planar aerial (2) to the inside of a vehicle window (3) for the purpose of radio communication between a vehicle unit and a transmitter and/or receiver outside the vehicle, in particular on frequencies in the GHz range. The directivity of the aerial (2) is affected, by inserting an intermediate dielectric member (4) with a dielectric constant between the dielectric constant of the window (3) and the dielectric constant of the air, to produce a more uniform and low level of attenuation over a larger radiation or reception angle. The distance between the pane and the aerial is also advantageously reduced.
