[origin: EP0888878A2] A cushioning conversion machine/method characterized by a stock roll support assembly and/or a stock supply assembly which accommodates a variety of orientations of the machine. The stock roll support assembly may be positioned in a plurality of orientations and includes a stock roll support bracket having a slot forming a stock roll rod cradle which is compatible with the plurality of orientations. The stock supply assembly includes a constant entry bar may be mounted in a plurality of positions.
