Abstract (en)
The tool is used for folding cardboard blanks especially for manufacture of cigarette packets. One of the narrow sidewalls (15) of the folding tool for the laying of the relatively overlapping blank sections (23,24) has a smaller width (B15) than the opposite narrow sidewall (14). As a result of this the fold mandrel (10) itself has a trapezoidal cross-section to achieve an almost exact rectangular cross-section of the finished packet. The angle between a large faced wall (12,13) and the adjacent narrow sidewall is a right-angle.

Für die Herstellung von Zigaretten-Weichbecherpackungen werden als Hohlkörper ausgebildete Faltdorne (10) eingesetzt, auf deren Außenseite Zuschnitte (16, 17) gefaltet werden. Der äußere Zuschnitt (17) weist im Bereich einer schmalen Seitenwand (15) einander überlappende Zuschnitteile (23, 24) auf, die durch Klebung miteinander verbunden sind. Im Bereich der Klebeverbindung erfolgt eine geringfügige Aufweitung des Querschnitts der Verpackung während des Aushärtens des Klebers. Zur Kompensation dieses Effekts weist der Faltdorn (10) keine exakt rechteckige Form auf. Vielmehr hat die der Klebestelle benachbarte schmale Seitenwand (15) eine geringere Breite (B15) als die gegenüberliegende schmale Seitenwand (14). <IMAGE>
