Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0888992A2] There are a number of pressure or vacuum charged areas below one or more suction belts (3) in the direction of feed (2). The pressure or vacuum charging of these areas is controllable separately one from the other in dependence upon their covering by the fed sheets. The charged areas are located with a spacing corresponding to a spacing of a stream of sheets without pressure or vacuum charging. The paper sheets are fed to the machine in the correct order.
