Abstract (en)
The safety device prevents an object from being trapped between the moving stairs (2) and the base plate (6) along which they move, using a profile (7) attached to the base plate on either side of the moving stairs, for preventing contact between a shoe and the base plate. The profile incorporates a light conductor (10), enclosed by a transparent cover (11) and coupled to a light source, with sidewards light output, for illuminating the stair tread surface.

Diese Sicherheitseinrichtung für eine Fahrtreppe (1) vemindert die Gefahr des Einklemmens von Gegenständen zwischen Stufe (2) und Sockelblech (6). Entlang der Stufen (2) ist beidseitig je ein Abweiserprofil (7) mit einem eingebauten Lichtleiter (10) mit seitlicher Lichtabstrahlung angeordnet. Das Abweiserprofil (7) weist eine Form auf, die das Berühren des Sockelbleches (6) mit einem Schuh verunmöglicht, bzw. erschwert. Die Lichtleiter (10) sind an beiden Enden mit einer Lichtquelle (9) verbunden. <IMAGE>
