Abstract (en)
The tower crane foldable mast is made from three components (6,7,8). The lower component (6) is articulated by its base (4) on the crane rotating chassis (3). An intermediate folding component (7) of relatively small length, is articulated (9) at the top of the lower mast component. The upper mast component (8) is articulated at its base (10) on the intermediate component and carries at its top the crane jib (13). The folding/unfolding device comprises a shroud (23) articulated by one end (24) to the rotating chassis and by the other end (25) to the intermediate component. A tie-rod (30) is articulated by one end (31) to the intermediate component and by its other end (21) to a kingpost (19) carried by the jib.

La mâture (5) comprend un élément de mât inférieur (6), articulé sur le châssis tournant (3) de la grue, un élément de mât intermédiaire de pliage (7), et un élément de mât supérieur (8) portant la flèche (13) de la grue. Le dispositif de pliage/dépliage de cette mâture (5) comprend : au moins un hauban (23) articulé au châssis tournant (3) et à l'élément de mât intermédiaire (7), un tirant (30) reliant l'élément intermédiaire (7) à un poinçon de flèche (19), des moyens moteurs, pouvant comprendre eux-mêmes un vérin (27) monté entre le châssis tournant (3) et l'élément de mât inférieur (6), et un embiellage (34) situé au niveau de l'élément de mât intermédiaire (7).
