Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0889184A2] The mechanism has a bolt element which can be fixed to a first part of the furniture. A bolt receiving part can be fixed to a second part of the furniture and can be brought electromagnetically from a position in which the bolt is locked to an unlocked position. The mechanism also has a monitoring device for the locked and open conditions. The bolt element is formed of a locking pin (1). The bolt receiving element is formed of a lock housing (2) with a slider (3). The housing and the slider have two insert openings (21,22) or recesses for the pin. The two openings are arranged at 90 deg. to each other. The monitoring device is a registration element (5). This is arranged at the intersection of the axes of the two insert openings of the locking housing.
