Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0889284A2] The lamp unit has a light source (10) enclosed by a rear reflector (1), fitted with a lamp glass across its front opening. The reflector and the lamp glass have parallel ridges (11,2). The reflector has a parabolic reflection surface (7) and a reflection surface (8) which is flat in the horizontal direction and parabolic in the vertical direction. One or both of these reflector surfaces are provided with convex cylindrical ridges parallel to the lamp glass ridges.
