[origin: DE19727912C1] The cooling body has input and output supports (4,5) which are approximately parallel and spaced apart and open into a hollow space. Intersecting parallel flow channels are formed in the hollow space. The channels are defined by rhomboid shaped islands (2). The long diagonals (9) of the islands run parallel to the axes of the supports (4,5). The cooling body has a first region (6) which is formed as an equilateral triangle with points directed away from the supports (4,5). The base of the triangle corresponds to the distance between the input and output supports (4,5). A second and third region (7,8) are formed on the two sides outside the triangle. In these regions the long diagonals (9) of the rhomboids is inclined at an angle of between 30 and 90 degrees relative to the long diagonals of the rhomboids in the first region.
