[origin: WO9733826A1] A device for handling a cylindrical electric tool-holder spindle (100) in a cylindrical holder (200) of a machine tool is disclosed. The device comprises a handling cradle (400) consisting of a combination of a receptacle (500) in which the electric spindle (100) is placed, a gripping member (600) for lifting said handling cradle, and a fastening member (700) for fastening the cradle (400) to the holder (200) to hold the electric spindle (100) in place relative to the holder (200). Said fastening member (700) is arranged in front of the handling cradle (400) and consists of a cylindrical tube (710) cut along a horizontal plane and having an outer diameter (720) matching the inner diameter of the cylinder (240) of the holder (200), such that it is coaxial therewith, and an inner diameter (730) greater than the diameter of the rear body of the electric spindle (100). The device is useful for maintaining machine tools.
