The intermediate element (140) on which the ski-boot fastenings (160,170) swivel on a transverse axle (130) is swivel mounted on the ski on a second transverse axle (120). When the boot is lowered, the first transverse axle is positioned behind the second transverse axle, viewed in the ski's longitudinal direction. The intermediate element consists of a single plate or two side parts joined by the two axles. When the boot is lowered, the second transverse axle is in front of the toe, and the first axle in the toe area. The swivel movement, when the boot heel is raised, is restricted by a first stop piece, and by a second stop piece when the heel is lowered.

Eine Skibindung weist Schuhbefestigungsmittel (160, 170; 260, 270; 360, 370) auf, die um eine erste Querachse (130; 230; 330) verschwenkbar an einem Zwischenglied (140; 240; 340) gelagert sind, welches um eine zweite Querachse (120; 220; 320) verschwenkbar am Ski gelagert ist. Bei abgesenktem Schuh ist die erste Querachse (130; 230; 330), in Skilängsrichtung betrachtet, hinter der zweiten Querachse (120; 220; 320) angeordnet. Die erfindungsgemässe Skibindung ermöglicht selbst für Skischuhe mit einer steifen Sohle einen ergonomischen Bewegungsablauf beim Gehen, der dem natürlichen Bewegungsablauf mit einem weichen Laufschuh nahekommt. <IMAGE>
