Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0890513A1] The appliance forms part of a filling machine operating on the gravity principle. The machine has a funnel shaped feed container (10) which has a dosing cone (11) at the bottom which serves to interrupt and change the flow of the bulk goods from a coarse into a fine flow. The cone is moved up and down by a controlled actuator. The actuator has a rotary drive (13 to 15) which drives the cone about its symmetrical axis. The rotary drive can consist of a gear motor driving the cone through a gear train.
