[origin: EP0890687A2] A device is provided for feeding a metal strip to a pair of meshing form rollers for formation of the corrugations, together with at least two groups multiple tools for production of ventilation apertures. The two groups of multiple tools are arranged in the running direction of the metal strip behind the form rollers (2,2') and comprise circulating swarf-removing or cutting tool sets (15,15'). The tool sets are arranged at such a height in relation to the running corrugated strip that they remove at the corrugation peaks a swarf with a thickness which is at least somewhat greater than the strip thickness. The circulating cutting tool (15,15') are sufficiently adjustable in relation to the running, corrugated strip that slot-shape ventilation apertures (12,12') are produced in the area of the corrugation peaks extending in the running direction.
