Abstract (en)
The support for a gravestone comprises an inclined support wall (4) for the stone panel. Two upwards opening clamps (6) are mounted on the lower end of the inclined wall so that the stone panel can be forcibly inserted and held in the clamps and applied against the wall. The clamps have a U shaped part (10) with a width corresponding to that of the panel. The U shaped part has slightly closed branches, one of which is slightly elastic. This free branch has two gripping holes enabling its widening by a tool. The clamps have a hook shaped part (11) which is inserted in support wall openings. A band (7) conceals the clamps.

L'invention concerne un support pour plaque funéraire, comportant une paroi (4) inclinée d'appui pour un panneau par exemple en pierre, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend au moins une pince (5, 6) ouverte vers le haut qui est montée sur le support (2) à l'extrémité inférieure de la paroi inclinée (4) et en avant de celle-ci, de façon qu'un panneau (1) puisse être inséré en force et maintenu dans cette pince (5, 6) en position appliquée contre la paroi inclinée (4) du support (2). L'invention concerne également une plaque funéraire constituée par un panneau (1) par exemple en pierre monté sur un tel support (2). L'invention permet de supprimer tout perçage du panneau (1). <IMAGE>
