Abstract (en)
The boring machine is mounted on a vehicle comprising a front chassis (1) with two wheels (2) and a rear chassis (3) with four wheels (4). The two chassis are connected by an intermediate articulation with a vertical axis (6). The front chassis carries a boring arm (7). To increase the lateral stability during turning the front chassis is extended rearwards (13) behind the intermediate articulation and above a portion (14) of the rear chassis.

La partie "porteur" ou "véhicule" de l'engin se compose d'un châssis avant (1) à deux roues (2), et d'un châssis arrière (3) à deux roues (4), reliés l'un à l'autre par une articulation intermédiaire (5) autour d'un axe vertical (6). Pour améliorer la stabilité latérale en virage, le châssis avant (1) est prolongé vers l'arrière (en 13), derrière l'axe d'articulation intermédiaire (6) et au-dessus d'une portion (14) du châssis arrière (3). Le châssis avant (1) ainsi prolongé supporte, outre le ou les bras de foration (7) et le poste de conduite et de travail (10), une partie des équipements électriques et/ou hydrauliques (15) de l'engin. Dans une disposition inverse, le châssis arrière (1) est prolongé vers l'avant, devant l'axe d'articulation (6) et au-dessus d'une portion du châssis avant (1). <IMAGE>
