[origin: EP0890801A2] The mechanism consists of a frame component and closure flap (2) with a closure path (X) between open and closed positions. At least one elastic body (9) is located in a fixed manner at its end, directed towards the centre of a frame aperture (4) to be closed. At its opposite end the mechanism is fitted in a controlled fashion. The length of the closure mechanism is greater than the distance between the two body ends which is vertical to the closure path. The elastic body, due to a force influence in the direction of the closure path, moves from a shape-unstable state into a second shape-stable state. In one shape-stable state the closure flap is opened and in the other shape-stable state the closure flap is closed. The elastic body has a rotation-symmetrical shape and the end directed to the frame opening to be closed is an area in the centre of the body.
