Abstract (en)
The water heater (10) has a seating (1) with a first water atomiser (12) in the seating to spray water onto a first heat exchanger array (13) held in the seating by a support (15). A heating gas duct (16) is in communication with an upper part of the a seating. A burner (17) is connected to an upper part of the seating to heat the water in a first reservoir in the seating. A second heat exchange array (21) is spaced from the first by a second support (22). A second sprayer (24) is above the second array. A second water reservoir (25) in the seating is below the first array. A passage (27) allows hot gases to pass from the second array to a position above the reservoir.

Selon l'invention, le chauffe-eau est constitué d'un logement (11) divisé en deux sections (A, B) disposées l'une au-dessus de l'autre ou côte à côte, chaque section comprenant un ajutage de pulvérisation d'eau (12, 24) disposé en partie haute au-dessus d'un garnissage (13, 21) d'éléments d'échange de chaleur, et un réservoir (19, 25) disposé sous le garnissage (13, 21) d'éléments d'échange de chaleur et communiquant en circuit fermé avec un dispositif d'échange de chaleur (31, 37), la première section (A) comprenant de plus un brûleur (17) destiné à chauffer l'eau pulvériser par l'ajutage (24) au-dessus dudit garnissage (21), et la seconde section (B) comprenant de plus une conduite d'échappement (16). Le chauffe-eau à contact direct à double chambre selon l'invention permet de fournir deux sources d'eau chaude à des température différentes pour des usages différents, et tout en ayant une efficacité augmentée. <IMAGE>
