Abstract (en)
The system for loading a mortar which requires loading through the barrel (T) includes a transfer device (D) mounted on the barrel. This transfers the munitions (M) from the lower part of the mortar, up to the mouth of the barrel. The system includes a magazine (B) and a drive mechanism which is intended to rotate the magazine, and by use of a latch transfer the munitions into position in the barrel. The drive mechanism comprises a support which is movable to translate parallel to the tube, with a latch mechanism movable between two positions, holding and locking the munition in position. The magazine comprises a cylindrical barrel which is rotated by a motor.

L'invention concerne le chargement des mortiers. Pour améliorer la cadence de tir, un magasin à munitions (B) est monté directement sur le mortier. Grâce à un entraînement (Be) par moteur, les munitions contenues dans le magasin sont amenées dans une position prédéterminée où elles sont prises en compte par des moyens de transfert (D) qui les extraient du magasin (B) et les introduisent dans le tube (T) du mortier. Application, en particulier, aux mortiers à chargement par la bouche. <IMAGE>
