[origin: FR2758322A1] The invention concerns a mineral wool composition capable of dissolving in a physiological medium comprising the constituents listed below in the following weight proportions: CaO + MgO + BaO + Na2O + K2O + B2O3 - 2 x Al2O3 > 30 %, RO 13.5 to 19.5 %, R2O 14.2 to 23 %, RO/R2O 0.70 to 0.95 %, CaO/MgO > 1.5 %, SiO2 47 to 58.5 %, Al2O3 0 to 3.5 %, B2O3 5 to 10 %, Fe2O3 (total iron ) 0 to 3 %, with RO: the oxides of elements of column 2a of the periodic table, including CaO, MgO, BaO and SrO, R2O: the oxides of column 1a of the periodic table, including Na2O, K2O, Li2O.
