Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19703998A1] The invention relates to a remote-control device comprising a base station, actuating elements for acting on the base station (10), storage means (15, 25) configured in both the actuating elements (20) and the base station (10), whereby each storage means contains an information unit (16, 26) assigned to an actuating element (20) of the base station (10). Said device also comprises a wireless signal transmission link (30) between the base station (10) and the actuating elements (20) which carries out the remote-control function in a contactless manner. One actuating element is designed to serve as a main actuating element (20H). If said element is within the reach of the signal transmission link (30), the assignment information units (18) located in the storage means (15, 25) can be changed.
