Abstract (en)
A thin strip is cast, in particular, with use of a twin roller process, and is coated as a mother strip while passing through an inversion casting installation. The coating surface is smoothed by rolling. The thickness of the coated strip is reduced by hot or cold rolling. The finished product has a thickness of 0.2-6 mm and a width of 0.3-2 m. The apparatus includes a strip casting installation with twin rollers (1), an on-line inversion casting installation (25) serving for strip coating, at least one smoothing roll pair, and a rolling installation (23) for thickness reduction of the coated strip.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erzeugung von beschichteten Warm- oder Kaltprodukten, insbesondere von Stahlband. Das Verfahren wird dadurch verbessert, daß dünnes Band, insbesondere mittels einer Wanderkokille z.B. mittels eines Twin Rollers 1 nach Bessemer, gegossen wird und das gegossene Band 'online' als Mutterband in eine Inversionsgießanlage 25 zur Bandbeschichtung geführt wird, die Oberfläche des beschichteten Bandes mittels eines Glättwalzenpaares 18 geglättet wird und gegebenenfalls das beschichtete und geglättete Band 7 in einem Walzwerk 23 mit einem oder mehreren Walzgerüsten dickenreduziert wird. <IMAGE>
