Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0892153A1] The heating or cooling device for adjusting the diameter of a circular casing uses circular arc galleries (7,8,9) through which gas is blown onto ribs on the casing. The galleries each extend over a quarter of the circumference and are extended by a trio of identical chambers (107-109,207-209,307-309) which form a triple ring around the casing and the ribs. The gas distribution network is composed of conduits (17,18,19,20), having an identical total length from a common origin (15), in each of the chambers.
