Abstract (en)
The method for the controlling of a vapour-fume extraction unit (3) involves adjusting an operating condition of the fume extraction unit (3) if a movement signalling unit (2) has signalled a movement of an object (6), e.g. a hand of an operating person, in a specified movement region (20). With a set operating condition of the fume extraction unit (3) selects to start with, from a specified number of operating conditions, using assigned operating elements (10-15) and stores, and is only then adjusted, if the movement signalling unit (2) has signalled a movement.

Zum Steuern einer Dunstabzugseinrichtung (3), insbesondere für ein Kochfeld und/oder einen Back- und Bratofen, wird gemäß der Erfindung ein automatischer Bewegungsmelder (2) verwendet. Vorzugsweise wird ein gewünschter Betriebszustand vorab eingestellt und gespeichert und dann durch eine kurze Bewegung mit der Hand (6) aktiviert oder deaktiviert. Vorteile: einfache, ergonomische Bedienung, ohne hinschauen zu müssen; keine Verschmutzung der Bedienelemente durch verschmutzte Hände während des Kochens <IMAGE>
