Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0892420A2] The mechanism has a fixed chamber (1) with a spring loaded main slider (2) and a spring loaded indication slider (3) perpendicular to the main slider and a sprung lever (4) rotatably located in the chamber. The lever holds the toggle joint of the switch lock in the closed position of a overcurrent circuit breaker. The main slider is in positive connection with a hand operated appts. On closure, the main slider is moved in the direction of the indication slider. The sloped surfaces (19) of the indication slider displaces and catches with the main slider. On release, the release catch displaces the indication slider so the main slider catches into a release location. To switch out and reset after a release, a strong hand grip is needed. The main spring (12) is located in the main slider and does not effect the switch lock.
