Abstract (en)
The receiver has a microprocessor (7) with read/write memory (8) and ROM (12). The ROM holds programs for the microprocessor and information about receivable additional services assigned to key words. The microprocessor controls a display (4) which shows information about the transmitter, information of further additional services e.g. pager information. An input button (3) transmits commands from the user to the microprocessor. The read/write memory holds a table, which is empty when the receiver is started. The receiver carries out a transmitter search under control of the microprocessor and the table is then filled with information. All the frequency bands are scanned.

Es wird ein Rundfunkempfänger vorgeschlagen, bei dem neben dem Rundfunkprogramm digital weitere Informationen und deren Inhalte übertragen werden. Dem Rundfunkempfänger kann eingegeben werden, welche Art von digitaler Information neben dem Rundfunkprogramm empfangen werden soll. Der Rundfunkempfänger ermittelt, welche zusätzlichen Informationen von den einzelnen Rundfunksender abgestrahlt werden und stellt nach der Eingabe der gewünschten zusätzlichen Informationen den Rundfunkempfänger ein, der die zusätzliche Information abstrahlt. <IMAGE>
