Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19612525A1] The invention concerns an arrangement for sorting out flat articles which are too high. In order to prevent articles which have been extracted but are nevertheless not too large having to be subjected to the extraction procedure a further time, a first extraction stage, comprising an extractor (2) and a slide (5), is arranged in the conveying direction before a deflection point (4) above a conveying channel (1), which consists of driven underfloor tracks with lateral guides, for sorting out and conveying the articles which are too high into a first subsidiary channel (7). The subsidiary channel (7) opens into the conveying channel (1) after the deflection point. A second extraction stage above the first subsidiary channel (7) likewise sorts out articles and conveys them into a second subsidiary channel (8) which opens into the conveying channel (1) after the first extraction stage (2) and before the deflection point (4). Disposed above the second subsidiary channel (8) is a third extraction stage which sorts out articles which are too large and transfers them into a container.
