The front side of the urinal body (1) has a longitudinal slot (8) for receiving urine. The longitudinal slot (8) extends vertically or in a plane that is or may be inclined. The narrow design of the urinal, as well as the vertically elongated, narrow urine-receiving opening allow an advantageous urinal to be obtained for standing users of various heights.
