[origin: EP0893353A1] The component positioning machine includes an upstream conveyor (1) for printed circuit boards (60), and a downstream conveyor (2) for printed circuit boards. Between these two is a mobile table (3) for positioning components, and a positioning turret (4) under which the positioning table is able to displace the printed circuits. Additionally there is a mobile carrier and charger table (5). The carrier-charger table (5) is intended to receive a battery of component chargers (6) which may be presented under the positioning turret by sliding along the chassis of the machine. The positioning turret includes a number of suction nozzles (8). The turret is mounted to rotate in order to present the nozzles (8) in front of a series of working positions. The descent and ascent of the nozzles (8) is effected by levers and supports operated by sets of cams.
