[origin: EP0893382A1] A web of printed paper between two machines or within the same machine may be broken by some unforeseen circumstance leading to interruption of the feed. The printed web (22) passes over a feed roller (26) which is contact with a wind-off roller (14) around which printed paper (21) is wound. The wind-off roller is positioned in such a way with respect to the printed paper web that the stored printed paper ant the paper strip can be supported against each other.
