Abstract (en)

The cryogenic liquid may be supplied to a conveyor which is packaging liquids in containers using an electrovalve head (9). The valve body (14) receives the cryogenic liquid through an insulated duct (16,18) and there are two distinct passages (19,22) through to the exit (24). Electrically operated actuators (15) are energised (29,30) selectively to open the passages (19,22) to the exit (24). Nitrogen gas at ambient temperature is introduced (17,26) to the valve chamber and acts as a propellant to expel precise doses of the liquid nitrogen. Heating elements (34) prevent icing or condensation.

Cette électrovanne comprend un corps de vanne (14) muni d'un conduit d'entrée (18), d'un conduit de sortie (24) et de moyens d'actionnement adaptés pour mettre sélectivement en communication ces deux conduits. Le corps de vanne comprend au moins deux passages distincts (19, 20) qui relient le conduit d'entrée au conduit de sortie, et les moyens d'actionnement comprennent plusieurs actionneurs (15) dont chacun est adapté pour obturer sélectivement l'un desdits passages. Application à l'inertage/pressurisation à l'azote de bouteilles contenant des liquides plats. <IMAGE>
