Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0893490A2] The characteristic features in a liquid N-free textile softener comprising water, anionic surfactant(s) and fatty materials are that (a) the fatty material is present at 1-20 wt.% and comprises a fatty alcohol or a mono- or di-ester of a fatty acid with sorbitol, trimethylolpropane, neopentylglycol, ethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, glycerin or polyglycerin; (b) the anionic surfactant is present at 0.2-5 wt.%; (c) the balance contains water or an aqueous solution of other additives; and (d) the softener is not in the form of a micro-emulsion.
