Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0893548A1] The supporting frame consists of continuous vertical frame members connected by horizontal cross-members (4) to form cells (5) which receive the curtain walling panels (6). Each of the horizontal cross-members only contains a Z-section seal extending along its whole length. Each seal is fixed to the cross-member at one end and extends across the panel below it to protect its upper edge. A locking member (21) is fitted between the two adjacent panels and applied against their adjoining lower and upper edges respectively.
