[origin: EP0893549A2] The unit (1) bonds the intersections of a number of rods (2-5) in a support structure. It can carry the glass panes of a glass facade or roof. It gives working surfaces between the cover plates (6,7) and the end sections of the rods (2-5) in a shape fit gripping each other. There are recesses (6a,7a) at the working surfaces of the cover plates (6,7), The working surfaces of the end sections (2a-5a) of the rods (2-5) have projections (2b-5b) which give a shape fit grip in the recesses (6a,7a).
