[origin: EP0893605A1] The pressure medium pump (4) can be changed over in its delivery direction. Its two sides are connected in parallel for connection with the work cylinder (1) and also with an exchange valve (7) connected to the tank (6). In the connecting conduit (10,11), at least one of the two work chambers (2,3) to the pressure medium pump, a check valve (12,13) is connected, opening in the direction to the work chamber. The outlet side of the check valve is connected with the inlet side (18,19) of a tension valve (20,21) opening on the outlet side to the tank. The tension valve can be cut off by the pressure appertaining at the input side of the check valve.
