Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0893655A2] The warm air station has a cuboid housing (1) which can be installed in the floor and which has an open upper side covered at floor level by a grid (11). The housing is divided by a partition wall (13) into a warm air section (15) and an air inlet section (14). At least one opening (16) is provided at the base of the wall acting as air outlet for a fan (17) in the air inlet section, above which is a horizontal soundproofing wall (19) with a free edge (20) forming an air passage reaching to a transfer chamber (21) connecting upper and lower parts of the air inlet chamber. A damper register (25) is provided in the region of the soundproofing wall.
