Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0893702A1] The receiver includes a correlator (7) which has an least one filter path for signal acquisition. A processor (3) is adapted to indicate the central acquisition frequency. The correlator has calibration logic which comprises a table relating to variations in the ambient temperature to variations in the thermal frequency function. The sensor is a low frequency oscillator (13) with a logic gate (14) across which a resistance (16) is coupled in parallel with a series thermistor (17) and resistor (18). The resistor input is connected to earth via a capacitor (15). An A/D converter (10) is associated with the sensor to provide digital values to the processor which measures the frequency to establish a digital value to represent the temperature.
