[origin: EP0893804A2] The cable comprises an inner conductor (1), an isolation (4) which encloses the inner conductor (1), and an outer conductor including several, elongated elements (2), proceeding in a longitudinal direction of the cable, which rest on the isolation of the cable. A wrapping layer (3) sits close to the elements of the outer conductor and on the isolation, and encloses them. The cross-section of the surface (6) of the isolation, vertical to the longitudinal direction of the cable, forms a polygon, and the wrapping layer rests on the corners (7) of the polygon. The elements and the wrapping layer are preferably electrically conductive and are in contact with each other.
