[origin: WO9733500A1] A slat grid (2) comprises an upper and a lower layer of transverse slats (3) spaced adjacent each other, and elongate, rubber-elastic support structures (4) between the slat layers. The upper and lower surface of said support structures have receiving brackets (5) into which or through which the slats (3) pass. To produce a slat frame which is comfortable to lie on, the actual support structures (4) form the receiving lugs (5) for the slats (3), which brackets (5) are integral with their own profiled portions (9) projecting up and down from an elongate central section (7) of the support structure (4).
