[origin: DE19705990A1] The invention relates to a mounting device (1) for mounting a fuel injection valve (20) into a location hole (4) of a cylinder head (5) of an internal combustion engine. The mounting device (1) has a casing (3) at least partially enclosing the fuel injection valve (20). In accordance with the invention, the mounting device (1) can be inserted with the fuel injection valve (20) into the location hole (4). At a first end (6) of the casing (3), a first collar section (7), bent inwards, is friction-connected to a receiving section (25) of the fuel injection valve (20). This section accommodates the first collar section (7), in order to transmit both a pressure force serving to press the fuel injection valve (20) into the location hole (4), and a tractive force in the opposite direction. At a second end (10) of the casing (3), opposite the first end (6), a second collar section (11), bent outwards, has a working surface (12a, 12b) for a tool for applying a pressure force as well as a tractive force.
