[origin: DE19615322A1] The invention relates to a peripheral pump with an impeller (2) turning in a pump case (1) and with two delivery chambers (11, 12) extending on both sides of the faces (3, 4) and each having a circular cross-section. Said delivery chambers (11, 12) have a mutual connection (13) due to overlapping of the cross-sections thereof. Consequently, the liquid can flow freely from the one delivery chamber (11) to the other delivery chamber (12). The one delivery chamber (11) has a connection with an inlet port, while the other delivery chamber (12) is connected to an outlet port.
