Abstract (en)
This wrist strap or bracelet has a display (2) resembling a watch face, containing instead, illuminants (6). Preferably, these lights are driven by control electronics (7). An information carrier (4), e.g. a printed sheet or disc, is sized to cover the display and lights, with cut-outs or transparent areas (5) fitting over them. This allows the observer to see the lights through it (4). The control electronics cause the lights to simulate movement, or provide a random display. A switch or sensor (11) switches the electronics on or off. The transparent cover of the display is one-piece, forming a casing, including over the sides. It is preferably polycarbonate.
