Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0894555A2] The power frame (2) has two yoke plates (21,22) and draw anchors (23,24) arranged in tubes (25,26) connecting the yoke plates. The devices for pushing the one rolling spindle (10) in the direction of the other (1) are partly fixed or supported on one of the yoke plates (21,22). The power frame (2) is so arranged on a machine bed (3) movably in the rolling spindle push direction that no push and rolling forces are transmitted to the machine bed. The power frame is accurately connected at a point firmly with the machine bed. This connection is by means of one of the draw anchors (24) and/or one of the draw anchor tubes (26).
