Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0894884A2] The drive roller in a yarn feed system has a rotating disc (21) on an axis and a second coaxial rotating disc (22) on the axis with a relative movement to the first disc. Sliding sections (25) between the discs (21,22) form the circumference of the drive roller (16), and the relative rotation of the discs sets the roller (16) dia. The setting mechanism (31) has a cumulative gearing with the drive (36) for the first disc, the drive (38) for the second disc and the setting unit (49).
