A double fourdrinier section of a papermaking machine has continuous upper (11) and lower (12) fourdriniers which, at their entrances, are aligned on a horizontal plane or are pitched by a max. of 20 degrees to the horizontal. At the start of the double fourdrinier section, a suction roller (14) is positioned within the upper fourdrinier loop. Pliable pressure bars (15) bear against one of the fourdriniers, along a curved fourdrinier path, to induce pulsations in the fibre suspension, being held between the fourdriniers. At the end of the double fourdrinier section, both fourdriniers pass together over a suction roller (18) within the loop of the upper fourdrinier (12), and then, together, they pass over a third suction roller (19) within the loop of the lower fourdrinier where the upper fourdrinier is detached from the fibre web.

Doppelsiebformer zum Herstellen eines hochwertigen graphischen Papiers mit einem Untersieb 11 und einem Obersieb 12, die miteinander eine Doppelsiebzone bilden. Im Anfangsbereich der Doppelsiebzone laufen die Siebbänder 11, 12 über eine in der Schlaufe des Obersiebes 12 liegende Formiersaugwalze 14. In deren Bereich sind mehrere Entwässerungsleisten 15 vorgesehen, die pneumatisch an das Untersieb 11 andrückbar sind. In der Doppelsiebzone folgen auf die Formiersaugwalze 14 eine zweite, in der Schlaufe des Obersiebes 12 angeordnete Saugwalze 18 und eine dritte in der Schlaufe des Untersiebes 11 angeordnete Saugwalze 19. <IMAGE>
