[origin: EP0895050A2] A steam turbine installation comprises a steam turbine whose low-pressure stage (1) is connected on the steam side down stream of a condenser (2), whose inner cavity is divided into a number of condenser chambers (30,32). These are connected in parallel on the steam side and in series on the coolant side. The condenser chambers are specifically arranged in a common condenser housing (34), and in which each condenser chamber is separated from its neighbouring condenser chamber by a isolating plate (24). The low-pressure stage comprises a first low-pressure part (20) and a second low-pressure part (22) connected in parallel to the first part on the steam side.
