[origin: EP0895261A1] The rotating electrical switch has a rotor section (12) with a blocking unit (90) and a stator section (10). There is a gap between the stator and rotor. The gap has a wire (38) with a spring strip (46) behind it. The blocking unit is guided in a path (34) between the rotor and stator, passing from a neutral to temporary position, using the spring strip as a pointer. The end of the blocking unit has a protrusion (100) ensuring the engagement of the blocking unit in the desired path, according to the movement direction.
