[origin: EP0895769A2] The treatment chair (2) has a repository (9) for treatment instruments which is mounted on a vertical holder arm (17) arranged at the side relative to the chair. The arm is mounted on a mounting (21), which is adjustable horizontally. The repository relative to the arms and/or the arm relative to the mounting can rotate about the vertical joint axes (24 or 18) of a joint (25 or 19). The arm comprises a telescopic assembly (27) and is variable in height by means of a height adjuster mechanism (26). It can be fixed in the required position by means of a clamp arrangement (38).
