Abstract (en)

The dispenser comprises a rotary cylindrical housing divided into compartments which are open at its periphery. They fit into a base with a peripheral dispensing outlet, and there is a mechanism for rotating the housing relative to the base so that the compartments are positioned opposite the outlet in sequence. The dispenser incorporates a shutter (5) for the outlet, actuated by the rotation of the housing and attached to a spindle (52) set in the base. The shutter comprises one plate (51) to block the dispenser outlet, and a second one approximately perpendicular to the first and meeting it at the spindle. The shutter is actuated by a cam on the spindle which is turned by notches (56) in the housing as it rotates.

L'invention concerne un distributeur automatique de médicaments comprenant un réservoir (4) de forme générale cylindrique, pourvu de logements, ouverts transversalement au voisinage de la périphérie du réservoir ; une embase (2) fixe, destinée à être associée au réservoir et pourvue, transversalement et dans une région prédéterminée de sa périphérie, d'une fenêtre de distribution ; des moyens d'entraînement en rotation du réservoir par rapport à l'embase de façon à amener successivement chaque logement à l'aplomb de la fenêtre de distribution ; et un élément (5) d'obturation de la fenêtre de distribution, actionné par la rotation du réservoir. <IMAGE>
