[origin: EP0896107A2] The clamping mantle structure, for bundled tensioning cables (4) and the like, is a pliable cut or slitted plastics tube (3) or hose surrounding them. The butting surfaces of the cut or slit (9) are welded together. The spaces within the shrouded cables are filled with cement, plastics, or a grease to give the shrouding the flat ribbon structure. The tensioning cables and any plastics pipes are inserted through the slit, which closes through the natural elasticity of the material. The closed cut or slit is welded together.
